A 7-Year-Old Girl Died After A Racing Accident At The Orlando Racing Track

On Sunday, Feb 2, Elienisse Zoe Díaz Rodriguez hit an accident and lost control of her vehicle while racing. She was a first-grade student at Eastland Christian School, According to Fox 35.

On February 4th, unfortunately, Rodriguez died after crashing in an NHRA Junior Dragster event at Orlando Speed World Dragway. The prospect of this is something that parents dread, regardless of whether their kid is involved in auto racing or any other activity.

“It was Elienisse’s dream to drive a Jr. Dragster,” according to a GoFundMe campaign they posted on behalf of Rodriguez’s family. Nonetheless, the doctors confirmed her death at 10:54 p.m. on February 4, 2025, after fighting for her life for 2 days.

The mournful incident took place at Orlando Speed World, where the management responded to 911 alerts that the kid had been involved in misfortune with a car on Feb. 2 at around 11:20 a.m.

Rodriguez was racing her Junior Dragster racecar and lost control of her automobile while drag racing. She suddenly hit her racecar to a 34-year-old safety guide staff member—before striking a concrete wall, according to a statement by the Florida Highway Patrol.

A 34 year old employee was then treated at Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-critical injuries. In addition to being taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital, Rodriguez ended up passing away.

Orlando Speed World published a sincere statement on their Facebook page expressing their condolences. “We are deeply heartbroken by the tragic incident that took place at OSW on Sunday. Our thoughts and prayers are with Elienisse’s family and all those affected, including our racing community.”
