This beast is whisper-quiet, thanks to its mighty 6.3-litre V8 gasoline engine and 4-speed automatic transmission, which together produce 250 horsepower. Clarkson bought this German beauty in the early 2000s for around $600,000, which now should be no less than $3 to $3.5 million.
3. Eagle Lightweight GT
The 1963 Jaguar E-Type lightweight was designed solely to compete with Ferrari and Aston Martin in GT Racing. Since Jaguar produced only 12 units, this makes it even more rare and valuable.

Eagle restored one of the rarest once-built-to-race machines. They enlarged the engine by increasing its piston capacity to 4.7 litres with a wide-angle head, bigger valves, and high-lift cams. However, they kept the same three Weber carburettors, which produce around 380 bhp.
In 2020, Jeremy called this model the best supercar of the year. He also speaks at another event, this Eagle Lightweight GT kept him sleepless for many nights. This British beast cost him roughly a million pounds, at least what he claims in his column in The Sunday Times.
4. 1969 Ford Cortina MK2
The 1969 Ford Cortina MK2 is a sentimental machine in Jeremy Clarkson’s car collection. This particular model was Clarkson’s first purchase of an automobile. It had a polished wood dashboard, door cappings, bucket seats, and a sport steering wheel.

The Ford Cortina MK2 had a strengthened chassis and a lowered suspension from the Lotus Cortina. 6. McLaren 675LT
The McLarent 675LT is one of the rarest sports cars in Clarkson’s car collection. He bought this particular model in bright orange to celebrate his success after signing with Amazon for his famous The Grand Tour.
McLaren manufactured only 500 units of the 675LT “Longtail” worldwide. Longtail model carries the racing legacy of 650s, but with a lighter body made of carbon fibre and is much faster than ever before.

This road beast has a heart of a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with a dual-clutch seven-speed gearbox, pumping out 666 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque through the rear wheels. The mighty twin-turbos with a dry sump get it to 62 mph within 2.9 seconds after hitting the accelerator.
Clarkson explicitly loves McLarent’s engineering expertise and says that it works perfectly on the road and race track, too. He bought this McLaren in 2015 for $350,000, which has now become a bit of a rarity to find, too.
6. Ferrari F355
As Clarkson claims, the Ferrari F355 GTS is one of the world’s greatest cars. He specifically chose to order through Maranello Sales in August 1996, opting for Rosso Corsa over Crema leather with Rosso carpets and extremely rare sports seats with Rosso inserts.

This particular Ferrari is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre V8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, producing 375 horsepower. The F355 has Ferrari’s most advanced 5-valve per cylinder engine.
Clarkson loved every bit of this Italian beast until he drove it about 6,000 miles. He also once recalls the day he took it out to retake his driving test in 1999. But after that, Jeremy never bought any other Ferrari, making it his only Ferrari to this day.

7. Range Rover Vogue SE
Jeremy loves Range Rovers, particularly the L322 Vogue SE, which he drives daily. This particular one comes with a 3.6-litre Turbo Diesel V8 engine, pumping out 272 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque, paired with a not-so-reliable 6-speed automatic transmission.

Jeremy purchased this one in 2009. Since then, he’s covered more than 85,080. However, there were many failures and repairs to its turbochargers, which were even more expensive than car itself, Clarkson kept on paying for them.
Jeremy is mad after his Range Rovers, and claims that it takes 17 years for a Range Rover to become his Range Rover. Is There Any Car He Regrets Selling and Why?
Jeremy Clarkson once bought a 1973 BMW 3.0 CSL. Back then, he sold this special collector item for only £3,000, which he still considers one of his greatest regrets in his automotive sales. The 3.0 CSL was built as a homologation special for the European Touring Car Championship.
But that’s not it. Only 1,265 of these units were ever produced worldwide, and only 500 were sold in the UK. This BMW had a lightweight construction with thinner steel panels, aluminium doors, bonnet, and boot lid.
This model also had a larger 3.2-litre engine producing 203 horsepower. Jeremy regrets selling it since its average price in the collector market is somewhere between £222,656 to £235,112 for simpler models, while the “Batmobile” variants recorded a top sale at $381,000 (approximately £300,000) in July 2025.
